Dr.-Ing Babak Sorkhpour - International IT Solution Center
In 2002, Babak Sorkhpour graduated from the Islamic Azad University of Sari (Iran) in software engineering. In July 2015, He earned a master’s degree in “IT management” majoring in “knowledge management” from the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (Iran). In July 2019, He earned a Ph.D.’s degree from the University of Siegen (Germany) in embedded systems In 1998, when he was only 20, he founded his own computer company Parallel Processes Technology Inc., as an executive and research contractor of national projects in the North of Iran. So far, He has carried out tens of hardware, software, and network and IT management projects in the Governor’s Office, Electricity Company, Gas Company, and Prisons Organization of Golestan Province, North of Iran.
In 2013, when he was studying his master’s, he began to conduct two national pilot research and executive projects based on previous investigations and interests since 2002. He carried out these projects in Golestan Province Environmental Protection Organization, and Small Industries Deputy of Industrial Parks Co., as “Studying the Role of Knowledge Management Implementation,” Results were published in the National Conference of Knowledge Management, Tehran.
At the time, He has published some articles in various national and international conferences concerning knowledge management, IT, incubators, embedded systems, and management.
The following have also been a part of his research: the execution of research projects including designing and manufacturing meteorology and water data transmission software and hardware through Inmarsat in three flood stations in North of Iran and freshwater fish Databank.
From May 2016 to July 2019, he participates in the Horizon 2020 European Project (SAFEPOWER) as a researcher in institute Embedded Systems at the University of Siegen as a Ph.D. candidate and research assistant. His research work focuses on “Meta-Scheduling for Adaptable Time-Triggered Networks.” In this topic, he is using MILP & MIQP methods and modeling with IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimizer. To achieve this idea, he is using Linux, C++11, and create the Meta-Scheduler (MES) and Meta-Scheduling Visualizer (MeSViz).
